Is Christmas difficult for you?
Some people don't think Christmas is a wonderful time of year at all. Some of us feel as if we've only just got over last Christmas, and the credit card bill still hasn't been paid off! Once again there are the pressures of deciding what present to give, attending parties and family get-togethers, as well as worrying about having enough money to do all these things. And there are also those who don't look forward to this time of year for other reasons. This may be the first Christmas that you are separated from a loved one. At a time when so many friends and families are getting together, Christmas only highlights your loneliness. The stresses of Christmas often mean there are a lot of suicides, domestic abuse, a huge death toll on the roads and more... The first Christmas wasn't easy either - but many things happened then that have had an impact on life ever since. Jesus was born into the world so all people could come to know God. Knowing God gives us help for today and hope for the future. If Christmas is difficult for you, help is close at hand. Please phone either Brian on 6752 1103.
